Volkswagen Builds 100,000th North American Passat at Chattanooga Plant

Only nine months after the North American Passat went on sale in the U.S., Volkswagen celebrated its first important steps to 100,000 cars this year to produce the new $ 1 billion plant in Chattanooga.

The German automakers, is 100,000 Passat sedan pre-series cars, technical training vehicle, the dealer experience American car buyers, car models and the exports to Mexico, Canada, South Korea and the MiddleEast.

Volkswagen announced that the first customer car was delivered on 18 April 2011 10,000 th Golf in September 8, 2011 and 50,000 Passat 02/07/2012.
